CarboScreen combines tailor-made sensor systems with AI-supported data evaluation to digitalize the production and processing of reinforcing fibres such as carbon fibres. Based on CarboScreen technology, fiber manufacturers and processors are able to monitor the properties of their product during the ongoing process and thus make the process more productive, safer and more sustainable. The initial target market for CarboScreen is the fiber composite industry, in particular the production of carbon fibers and carbon composites. In the medium term, the technology is also to be adapted for the production processes of other reinforcing fibers such as glass or aramid fibers and other industrial processes.
