The spin-off OSPHIM from RWTH Aachen University uses AI to optimize the set-up process of injection moulding machines in the plastics processing industry. The platform developed by OSPHIM brings digital methods directly to the machine. This reduces the setup effort and supports the machine operators in setting up and optimizing the processes. The data is recorded directly at the machine via a small box and optimized in the associated platform – a plug & play solution that helps to save a massive amount of time and plastic material.
