The Solingen-based start-up Wellenpuls GmbH has developed a high-frequency neuromuscular electrical stimulation belt for targeted training of the deep muscles in the torso, which are significantly weakened in people with chronic non-specific pain in the lumbar spine area. The product is about to be launched on the market and will be digitally supplemented in the next step by an app for equipment control and training evaluation. Wellenpuls aims to establish itself as a leading company for musculoskeletal health solutions over the next five years. The product is also suitable for integration into occupational health management and can thus support companies in reducing absenteeism from work.
Der HIGH-TECH.NRW Accelerator war für Wellenpuls ein echter Mehrwert. Die gezielte Vernetzung mit herausragenden Mentor:innen hat wertvolle Impulse geliefert und strategische Türen geöffnet. Besonders bereichernd war auch der intensive Austausch mit den anderen Startups im Batch. Das Programmmanagement war exzellent – strukturiert, kompetent und immer unterstützend an unserer Seite.
