FloodWaive‘s business concept addresses the early warning and real-time risk analysis of heavy rain and flooding events. FloodWaive has developed a highly innovative algorithm that uses deep learning and transformer models to accelerate flood and inundation forecasting processes (e.g. for flash floods or dam breaches) by a factor of up to one million, thus overcoming the inherent computing time problems of current flood models. For the first time, comprehensive risk analyses and evaluations of measures can be carried out within a very short time, as well as dynamic flood forecasts for entire districts and countries.
