Humobility has developed an energy-efficient and sustainable mobility/vehicle concept for a human-hybrid powered sports device for medium-distance travel. The special feature is the lightweight construction, the design, and the use case as a high-tech sports device for green mobility in (sub)urban areas. Electric motors propel the vehicle up to 120 km/h, while the rider controls the vehicle via bicycle pedals and generates additional energy. The vehicle combines the health benefits of cycling with the driving experience and fun factor of a sports car.
We particularly enjoyed the HIGH-TECH.NRW accelerator because it brought us into contact with a huge network of mentors from a variety of industries. In addition to one-on-one meetings, the insights we gained in the various workshops also helped us enormously. The exchange among the start-ups is also supported by both face-to-face and online meetings. We are thrilled with the organisation and see this accelerator as a must for every start-up from the high- and deep-tech sector in NRW. So we can only recommend everyone to apply now for the next batch in autumn.
