manugy is a spin-off of the Fraunhofer IPT in Aachen and the Fraunhofer FFB in Münster. The start-up develops and sells modular, small to medium-sized, highly automated production lines for energy storage systems with a particular focus on battery technology. manugy combines product, process, machine and system expertise to enable customers to sustainably produce high-quality next-gen battery cells. The production lines consist of mini-environments whose environmental conditions can be adapted for battery cell production. The production processes adapted to the battery cell technology are integrated into the mini-environments via modular platforms. Subsequent adaptation of the production lines is possible with little effort, so that it is possible to react flexibly to requirements in the battery market.
