FreeD Printing revolutionizes the implementation of additive manufacturing processes with a robotic multidirectional modeling process. Compared to today’s 3D printing processes, components are built from multiple directions with free-formed layers. This enables the reduction of support structures and thus the saving of resources, the application on free-formed surfaces to create new application possibilities and the specification of strand directions to optimize the surface and the strength of components.
HIGH-TECH.NRW supported us by providing expert lectures on general start-up-related topics as well as the network for contacting potential application and technology partners. In addition, we were advised by the mentors on specific aspects of our spin-off from the university.
